Star of Hairy Bikers Dave Myers’ enormous wealth was made public after his untimely death at age 66 from illness

The enormous wealth of Hairy Bikers actor Dave Myers has come to light after his untimely death at the age of 66. The TV chef went away this week, surrounded by his loved ones, two years after disclosing that he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. Dave Orzac’s production firm, which he controlled with his wife Liliana Orzac, was valued at £1.4 million and had turned a profit of £200k in the preceding year, according to papers filed on January 31. In the meantime, the late star’s Hairy Bikers Television, which he owned with co-star Si King, was valued at £92K, making his total wealth close to £1.5M. Wife Liliana and her two kids, Sergiu and Izabelle, survived Dave.


It comes after the BBC program Saturday Kitchen honored Dave, leaving viewers in tears. This week, the cookery show honored the star with host Matt Tebbutt, sharing their own montage of Dave’s best moments as condolences flooded in. ‘Now as I’m sure you know, this has been a very sad week as we lost someone very close to the show,’ Matt said, speaking directly to the camera at the start of the episode. Dave Myers, who, with Si King, made up half of the Hairy Bikers.


He then gallantly resumed riding his bike and carried on living his TV life with Si. However, cancer tragically snatched him from us far too soon. Subsequently, Matt disclosed that the show will have an entire episode honoring Dave at a later time. He went on, “This is a little montage to remind you why we loved him so much, but we hope to stage a full tribute show for Dave in due course.” During the montage, the BBC successfully conveyed Dave’s boundless energy and sense of humor from his numerous appearances on the show.
